Once again we had another school day in the school district! This allowed me more time to work on other things like my lesson plan and finding books based on community helpers since this is the unit for the next couple of weeks. I plan on either picking a book that explains one specific community job or one book that shows all different types of community helpers. I may pick the book on vets because a lot of the students have dogs and it might make them more interested in learning about community helpers.
